Solar charger module
Solar charging control
For sucessful solar charged battery applications you need to match daily motor consumption with solar charging capacity at the worst time of year. The batteries (Ahrs) and solar panel capacity (W) are variables. The charging controller is 12V, or 24V, or higher.
Bolt & bollard sequencing
Sequence applications
There are many examples of sequencing two subsystems
Two gates operating Airlock mode
A bollard beneath the swing of a gate
Swing gate pair operating at night, then a barrier in day
A motorised bolt mounted on a swing gate leaf
Squence controller
In each case, one operation needs to be completed before it is safe to begin the next, and probably the same in reverse. It involves limit switches on both sub systems. Industrial systems use a supervisory controller and take feedback from the subsystems via a control bus like RS485.
