500 - 4 wire video
500set is a 4 wire video kit with upgrade options. It has a standard 7" screen, or a 10" quad display screen with CCTV inputs, or a 7" memory screen. The 3rd upgrade adds an IP connection to call a smartphone.
V46 - video & code
V46 sets entry panels have cast aluminium surface housings with aluminium panels. 4 core between panel and monitor. Power to both.
The keypad has open and hold open codes. The tap sensitive keys are backlit.
Smart video intercoms
IP intercoms connect the caller to a smartphone, or to a monitor in the house. The signals are all digital using IP (internet protocol). IP bridges connect an entry panel or CCTV camera with a network server without the data cable.
IP doorbells
Many houses nowadays have simpe video doorbells. Some are on 2 wires (hence named doorbells) and others have internal batteries with a wifi connection to the home router. Range is short, they have not relay output, and no keypad.

Standard Wifi bridges have a 20m range. Modern houses use heat insulation foil that blocks radio signals. Even block walls halve the range.
This long range bridge has a range of 150m through 2 walls.
PLA bridge
IP bridges connect an entry panel or CCTV camera with a network server without the data cable.
PLA bridges use the mains supply as a data highway.
4G intercoms

Standard GSM intercoms use the voice calls. DTMF tones are used for activation of an automation systems or door strike.

Video intercoms can use the cellphone network's 4G data services. It is an IP intercom using a PAYG or contract sim card with data.
